Space 92

One of Techno music’s Top 10 best-selling artists in 2020 and 2021, and the mind behind a string of Number One hits, Space 92 is a trailblazing French producer played by the greatest.

Space 92 began composing and producing at a very young age. His sound identity is a mix of trancey Techno, distorted percussion and a touch of Acid, in addition to underlying sensitivity and nostalgia - perhaps influenced by his passion for vintage 80s Sci-Fi.

In March 2020 his remix for Hungarian duo Twins Project, “Bass in your Face”, was an instant hit, directly entering Beatport’s Top 10. Other releases followed such as “Dune” on Umek’s label 1605 and a collaboration with French duo Cosmic Boys. In August 2020, Space 92 & YellowHeads released what would be the year 2020’s biggest Techno hit: “Planet X”, which sat four consecutive months at Number 1 and remained several months seated in the Beatport Top 10.

In 2021 Space 92’s ‘Atlas’ EP, released on Reinier Zonneveld’s label Filth on Acid took the Beatport charts by storm, topping worldwide Techno charts and remaining number One on the Beatport Peak Time Charts for almost two weeks. It was followed by a remix for revered French producer POPOF’s “Skylighter” EP (Form Music) and a collaboration in April with respected producer T78 was released, ‘Ground Zero’ (Autektone Records). In May, Space 92 returned to Filth on Acid with ‘The Game’ EP, which charted again at Number One. Fall of 2021 saw Space 92 remixing Eats Everything’s legendary classic ‘Space Raiders’, a fan favorite, as well as ‘Insomnia’ EP (Form Music), his second collaboration with Popof.

In 2022, Space 92 scored another monstrous hit with ‘The Door’ EP (Filth on Acid), which charted Number One on Beatport’s Techno releases - as did his collaborative track ‘Control’ (on 1605 - with POPOF and UMEK) throughout this Spring.

This massive hit was followed by another, a collaboration track with Hi-Lo, ‘Mercury’ (Filth on Acid). The track stayed Number One throughout the summer up until fall season, where it was joined in the Beatport Top 5 by Space 92’s latest release, ‘Colonia’, off eponymous EP (Factory 93).

The year 2022 also saw Space 92 launch with Popof an extremely popular Live/Hybrid act. Popof x Space 92 Present: Turbulences debuted worldwide at Ultra Music Festival – Resistance Tokyo, went on to perform at Resistance Seoul and Bali, and was so well received Ultra festival subsequently asked Turbulences to be part of several flagship shows the year after.

Seemingly unable to stop producing Beatport Number Ones, Space 92 reiterated in February 2023 with his ‘Gravity’ EP (Filth on Acid). Its singles ‘Gravity’, ‘Reaktor’ and ‘Cooper’ shot respectively to Number 1, 2, and 4. At the time of writing, ‘Gravity’ still sits there at Number 6. This massive hit was followed by Space 92’s performance with Turbulences at Ultra Miami - on its mainstage Techno Megastructure, before embarking on an Ultra- Resistance South America tour with Popof. Around that same time, another successful collaboration with Hi-Lo, ‘Arpeggio’, was released on Heldens’ HILOMATIK imprint.

Space 92 then released another collaboration on HILOMATIK, this time an EP, ‘The Abyss’, with industry legend Hardwell.

The year 2023 ended on a high note for Space 92, who joined the ranks of cult label Drumcode and released a new chart-topping EP, 'Time'. His final release of the year even concluded with yet another Number 1 in the Beatport charts, with EP 'Apollo' (Factory 93).

2024 gets off to another flying start for him, as he’s once again been crowned the world's biggest-selling Techno artist. he’s also released a collab single with Reinier Zonneveld, 'Ravarp' (Filth on Acid), followed by a new single with Hi-Lo, 'ORION' (Hilomatik) - already in the Beatport Top 5 and number 1 on the Spotify playlist 'Techno Bunker'
